India is hosting Australia for a four test series. The third test was in Delhi at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground. Went to see the match on the 2nd day. It was an amazing day. Warm and bright with a slight breeze. Just enough to make one feel comfortable.
This would also turn out to be the last time Anil Kumble comes out to bat for India in a test match.
The day saw two double hundreds (Gautam Gambhir and V.V.S. Laxman), India reaching a score of 600+ and Kumble reaching a career total of 2500 runs.
