Been thinking about love. The thing that we all crave and run after.
Pursuit of love is not so easy to define. Love exists at multiple levels and in multiple forms.
An orphan years for the love of parents and a widow years for the love of her dead husband.
But I am not feeling very clear headed about this... will post more on this... till then if anyone has anything to add please feel free.
The dawn is here; arise my lovely one
Pour the wine, but slowly, and touch the lute,
For those who are here will not stay long
While those departed never will return,
Many people have given their feedback on this post. I too have received a feedback from life itself. These days I am travelling. I am now in a place where I don't know anyone. Thousands of miles away from home totally alone and friendless for the first time in my life. So this has given me time to think and a look at things from a very different point of view.
Will share this with you some time in the future.. but for now here is what people have been saying (in the comments):
Ambrosia:
If I may add, "love" is a brilliant concept, perhaps nothing more remarkable exists. On one hand it can be a yearning and thus its vulnerable character, on the other it can give a feel of the ultimate sence of freedom.
Meera:
Your "Pursuit posts" are really cool and they do raise some very good points. Anyway I am so glad that you noticed that there is so many form of love. Have you notice how the world revolve around only one love ? I think 2 words that perfectly describes any true love would be "Unconditional & unselfish ".
