The Avon River Cruise

On Friday went for a River Cruise starting from Bristol city center. The cruise lasted about 3 hrs and it was great fun! Am posting the pics taken by me (using Canon S2 IS) along the way. It was some of the best 3 hrs I have ever spent. Saw a very different side of Bristol.

One of the many bridges on the River Avon. This one carries rail tracks from Temple Meads Railway Station

Old Canals. This pic reminds me of Half Life 2. The building to the right is part of the Temple Meads Railway Station

A bridge among trees. This looks more like story book England eh?

A random sight along the river.

Houses along the river.

The opposite bank.

Shades of Green

An abandoned building

Close up of the same building

The old railway bridge and some flowers along the river.

Under a bridge.

From the Amazon?

Dancing Dude. I wonder why that lady on the left is looking at me!

Through the bridge.. a hot air baloon!

The onboard music: Nine Volt Moon jazz band!

Sunlight Dancing on Water!

Balloons!

Another balloon.. the bottom view taken from the boat!
