Physics of Life, Happiness and Pain

Everything has a source or a sink.
For example when you are feeling cold and go and sit in front of the fire, the fire is the source of the heat and you are the sink.
When your having a bath, source of water is the shower tap and the sink is the drain.
The same way emotions also have sources and sinks.
Some people spread love and happiness, thus they becomes sources. Some people absorb the happy thoughts and become happy themselves. They are the sinks.
Similarly some people spread pain and sworrow, knowingly or unknowingly, this affects the people around them.
Thus we should be the sinks for pain, we should absorb pain from life so that it doesnt pile up. At the same time we should be sources of happiness so that happiness doesnt decrease.

I wonder which lucky guy gets to make rules like these!
